Our Praybook Prayer

In the name of your Only Son Jesus and His Divine Mercy, we humbly ask you Father to please bless Our Praybook and every ePostle sharing prayer intentions and positive thoughts here. May Our Praybook be a beautiful force of prayer in our world which serves to forever glorify You, the One True God, honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, and especially to draw all of our hearts, minds and souls closer to you each day, Oh Lord. May Our Praybook be an oasis of peace for PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS who come here to pray and meditate. May we always love and respect one another on Our Praybook, recognize the dignity of every human being, and may we always see your face in our fellow ePostles, your children. We humbly offer up all of the intentions and positive thoughts shared on Our Praybook through the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Please also bless our technology Lord so it can continually encourage prayer. We know that through you and your Divine Love all things are possible and in you alone we place all of our hopes and trust. May you grant as many intentions as possible that are shared on Our Praybook, but at the same time not our will be done, but Thy Holy Will. With a spirit of great thanksgiving we praise you Most Holy Trinity for the gift of prayer you’ve made available to us at every moment of life.

Prayers of the Holy Rosary

Apostles Creed

(Opening prayer said on the Crucifix)
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into the dead.  On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

(Next say 1 Our Father, 3 Hail Marys, and 1 Glory Be on the first five beads.)

Our Father

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name;
Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace; the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Fatima Prayer

(Dictated by Our Lady of the Rosary to the three visionaries of Fatima, 1917)
Oh my Jesus, Forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven,
especially those in most need of thy mercy.  Amen.

Then announce the 1st Mystery and say 1 Our Father, followed by 10 Hail Marys on the small beads, along with a Glory Be and the Fatima Prayer. This consists of 1 Decade of the Rosary and this is repeated 5 times, while meditating upon one of  the 4 sets of 20 Mysteries.   Note: the Our Father is said on each of the large beads which are spaced between the sets of 10 in order to begin each new Decade and Mystery.  Once you have said 5 Decades close with the following three prayers:

Hail Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope, to thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, O most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of they womb, Jesus. O clement, o loving, o sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us o Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ, Amen.

Closing Prayer of the Rosary

Oh God, whose only-begotten Son, by His Life, Death and Resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of external salvation: grant, we beseech thee, that, by meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host – by the Divine Power of God – cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy

Dictated by Jesus to Saint Faustina (1935)

First, begin by making the Sign of the Cross, then say 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and The Apostles Creed.

Next, on the larger ‘Our Father Beads’ say the following prayer:
Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and for those of the whole world.

On the 10 smaller ‘Hail Mary Beads’ say the following prayer:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
(Repeat the previous two steps for each of the five decades)

Closing Prayer (repeat three times):
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Additional Divine Mercy Prayer

O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a font of mercy for us, I trust in you!

Prayer of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Dictated by Our Lady 11.28.83

Jesus, we know that You are merciful
and that You have offered Your heart for us.
It is crowned with thorns and with our sins.
We know that You implore us constantly
so that we do not go astray.
Jesus, remember us
when we are in sin.
By means of Your Heart
make all men love one another.
Make hate disappear from amongst men.
Show us Your love.
We all love You
and want You to protect us
with Your Shepherd’s Heart and free us from every sin.
Jesus, enter into every heart!
Knock, knock at the door of our heart.
Be patient and never desist.
We are still closed
because we have not understood Your Love.
Knock continuously.
O Good Jesus, make us open our heart to You
at least in the moment we remember Your
Passion suffered for us.  Amen.

Prayer of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Dictated by Our Lady 11.28.83

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, ardent with goodness,
show Your Love towards us.
May the flame of Your Heart, O Mary,
descend on all mankind.
We love You so.
Impress true love in our hearts
so that we have a continuous desire
for You.
O Mary, humble and meek of heart,
remember us when we are in sin.
You know that all men sin.
Give us, by means of Your Immaculate Heart,
spiritual health.
Let us always see
the goodness of Your Maternal Heart
and may we be converted by means of the flame
of Your Heart. Amen.

Prayers from the Angel of Peace

Dictated to the Blessed Jacinta and the Blessed Francisco in Fatima, Portugal by the Angel of Peace (1916)

Prayer Recommended After Receiving Holy Communion
Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you profoundly, and I offer you the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, truly present in all the tabernacles throughout the world in reparation for all the offenses, outages and indifference with which He, Himself is offended, and through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg of you the conversion of poor sinners. (repeat x3)

My God I believe, I adore, I hope and I love you. I ask pardon of you for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love you. (repeat x3)

  • 4. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Dominions may the Lord give us grace to govern our senses and overcome any unruly passions. Amen.
  • 5. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Powers may the Lord protect our souls against the snares and temptations of the devil. Amen.
  • 6. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues may the Lord preserve us from evil and falling into temptation. Amen.
  • 7. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Principalities may God fill our souls with a true spirit of obedience. Amen.
  • 8. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels may the Lord give us perseverance in faith and in all good works in order that we may attain the glory of Heaven. Amen.
  • 9. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted in the life to come to Heaven. Amen.

Say one Our Father in honor of each of the following leading Angels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael and our Guardian Angel.

Concluding Prayers

O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King and our admirable conductor, you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ, that we may be made worthy of His promises.

Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael Prince of Your Church, make us worthy, we ask You, to be delivered from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into Your Presence. This we ask through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
