I pray today in thanksgiving of a request I posted here more than 2 years ago asking prayers for N. Torres who was hit by a truck. She had a skull fracture, lost her hearing, suffered with vertigo. Through a delicate surgery she can ear again, she is back to work & soon she is paying all her medical bills. The accident accelerate her legal situation in USA. She received prayers from many people, including from us
”from us” means from ourpraybook.
N. Torres felt better when I showed her the request I posted here.
When we ask prayers for ourselves or for others we humble ourselves before Our Lord and Creator.
Even if no one say a prayer the fact that we ask, and ask for our needs and of others, with a humble heart…the ”asking” become the prayer and immediately a listened prayer.
We need to pray everywhere, in the Church, in our homes, walking…working……but we must do something to ”sanctify” the Internet, so misused. I invite again all who got to know ”ourpraybook” to stop by, from time to time, as often as one can and drop in a request, a praise to God, to write an act of love, to pour out our hope, to give witness of faith, praying here for each other., internalizing a prayer embracing all who are in the Internet those few minutes when stopping here.
Ourpraybook is not ”linkedIn, or ”facebook, or a spot to socialize , to make friends….Ourpraybook exist as witness that we are children of God, His loved loved children.
I pray , this moment, for each one that is part of this ”invisible” group…I pray for Michael and for for Charlie E. , for CGSHB, for my own Community, my family and our families… for God’s Plan of Love related to our Human Family to be fulfilled… in thanksgiving, in praise of Whom we love. Our Father…

My ourpraybook friends, please pray for the eternal rest of Mary B. De Nief.
I requested prayers for her when she suffered a serious accident. Her recuperation was remarkable. Almost two years passed after that accident. She was a faithful Catholic woman, who lived to the end growing in love for God, Our Creator, happily accepting her circumstances and His Love. She was almost 98 and enjoyed life. I will miss her.
Dear Sister, we’ve been praying for Mary almost as long as this website has been in existence… We are so sorry to hear of her passing away and yet rejoice knowing she lived a blessed life and is with our Creator God and Father. May God also grant you peace at this time after having lost Mary and your colleague Michael whom we will also be praying for this week and especially during our weekly rosaries. I love you Sister – Michael

I pray today for the repose of Michael J, a colleague who died 5/17 after a terminal illness. He was only 51 and left wife & young children. I pray for his family who needs comfort and peace that only Our Lord gives us. May they accept their loss with faith & courage. I pray also for our staff. All of us are conscious of how brief life is. May all of us grow in love & gratitude to Our Creator. R.I.P. dear Michael.

I pray today for a person who is offending Our Lord stealing money…but also doing it to cause family problems. I am feeling sad knowing this situation and having only one choice: – Please pray with me. May the Holy Spirit help all in this situation. May I be an instrument to find solution.
